Well ive been driving the car for 5 months, and before i bought the car the clutch has been replaced by toyota. The pedal has been very low to he floor so i figured its adjustable and i need to tighten something. But yesterday when i went to move my car i couldnt even put it into first gear without grinding. So now i cant even start my car so im guessing im going to need a new clutch. Howcome it went so quick, i rarely launch and i do my best to ease into gear. Now im looking to buy a new clutch. Am i better off going with something stage 2 so it last longer and will be able to ocasionally handle a launch? And hopefully i wont need a new flywheel too becasue those cost more than the clutch... any ideas or suggestions? thanx pple.

it sounds like you have low pressure in your lines and a toyota tech. did not bleed your lines. Take it back up there and have them bleed the lines, the clutch should be okay.

Last time that happened to me, I found that I'd just blown an o-ring in my slave cylinder, caused it to fail over the course of just one day.
A real easy fix though.
