Demon or Holley
Triplet

Ok, this may be a controvercial thread. . . .
I have been a Holley guy for 15 years, and had good luck. But. . . I'm getting ready to switch from a vacuum secondary to a double pumper and I thought I'd try a Demon since they are essentially of Holley design with improvements.
Anyway, I was wondering what anybody has thought of any experiences they've had with both, especially if they have real reasoning to back up their opinions!! Please don't bash either one unless you can back it up!
Background info on my application:
71 Monte
454 with decent 325cc rectangular port heads,
RPM air gap intake
Roller cam 226/236 @0.050, .540 lift
9:1 compression right now, hopefully going to 10:1 later this year
3.55:1 gears
~2600 stall in a th350
With a 750 vacuum secondary Holley, I ran a 12.75, switching to a Demon 750 Double Pumper to play.
Let the opinions and experiences fly!
Thanks

It is said imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Beware of Demon's advertising. They call one a "650". It will perform like a Holley 750. In truth, it flows 750... They "name" it smaller to make you believe a smaller carb works better, while it isn't really smaller.
