Alright, as everyone probably knows  , I live in Japan and Drive a Skyline. Well I went home to PA for a few days and while I was home decided to "Investigate" deeper into importing Skylines :smokin: . Well this is common knowledge but here is a link to the DMV of Pennsylvania. This file tells you what you have to do to make your car "gray market".... .I know alot of you think that the "gray market" is some kind of way to skate around the system. But as you can see, the only way to make your car "gray market" is to go through customs, all the paperwork, and an RI....(and guess what...Motorex is your only option) :biggrin2: .....so forget about trying to cut them out. Now this is only an example but I'd be willing to bet the other states aren't too different. http://www.dot3.state.pa.us/pdotforms/fact_sheets/fs-ieve.pdf :bricks1:

aparently hiro has over 40 cars that are awaiting legalization, and has only gotten 1 legalized in the last year.

its actually quite sad and frankly wrong that people in america aren't allowed to import skylines for the value they actually are in Japan,
in the UK it is so easy to import any car,
no need for crash testing or any other rubbish,
just put it on the ship, pay the taxes, vat,
mot the car, and pay your road tax and hey presto!
