it seems that whenever one thing breaks everything goes.
so, for about a month now the starter was going. so this past saturday i figured i'd better put a new starter in now before i'm stuck somewhere and paying for a tow.
so i did that. over night we got our first big snowfall for the season. the next day i go to start it, starts right up but the battery light was on. i let it warm up for a couple minutes. get back in the car to go to wherever i was going and find that i have no power.
wipers don't work.
defrost doesn't work.
windows..ect ect.
car finally stalls out and that's the end of that.
i checked the battery, dead as a door nail.
went out bought a new battery, battery light is still on.
so my question is, what can it be this time?
i have a 96 z24. any help would be appreciated!

alternator not charging battery.need to replace.. or possibly loose connection somewhere?
is the batery dead again?
It may also be as easy as having your error code reset on the computer.

i figured it was the alternator.
Did you change the alternator? Because sometimes the gronds at the starter, when disturbed stop making a connection. Cleaning them with sandpaper can help a lot! Unless the problem has been resolved of course!
