When u race...

do you make eye contact??...Whenever I race someone hardly ever do they look over at me.. they just wont do it. ..strange...

Whoa..what's with all these weird questions? And it all depends...sometimes I make eye contact...sometimes I don't. Sometimes I talk to the person...sometimes I don't. It's always different.

I hope you don't mean while you're moving. Cuz that would just be insane. Before or after the race, I imagine I would, but I never get races so I couldn't really tell ya.

I mean at the light/after the race at the next light/at the meeting spot.

yeah it really depends on who it is, but generally i don't cause at where i live ( nyc ) if you make eye contact thats beef, and they will chase you to try to kick your ask or kill you or something. i don't feel like getting into a high speed chase. but anyways if i can feel that the guy is nice and not a dick ( from the way he drives ) then i usually give them a thumbs up or a wave afterwards.

^ True Story. People from NYC are straight up hood nuggaz! But really I used to live upstate, and the one time I went there with a few buds, we got hunted down just for smiling at someone in a nice car. Never again will I go back there :headshake . Late...

I've been in a couple of those high speed chases, that scared the shit outa me soooo bad.

well since i havent raced my mustang 5.0 beause its crashed. me and my friends go racing and before a race they always look @ me. im just not sure they wont look @ u.

I've never been chased or anything...but after beating people I've had them yell things at me.

It seems like the people with shitty slow cars are stuck up assholes...and people with nice, fast cars are cool..and then people with insanely fast cars are stuck up assholes. But that's not necessarily true all of the time. Just most of the time.

I don't like making eye contact...I'm too scurred lol.

most people just stare at my truck...they don't necessarily think about racing it. Rangers and Dakotas seem to like reving at me though.

I try not to make eye contact because it provokes the crappiest DX Civic automatics to race me
even better, pulling even with someone at a stoplight provokes races for me and i'm visually stock

true story, last time i looked over at a car it was a 1997 chevy blazer and the front end was smashed up some, the guy looked over at the same time gave me a "whats up punk a$$ i'm harder than you" look and when the light turned green he was off...
i like competition, not jerks so i waited to see if there were any cops which there weren't any so i merged in behind him hoping a cop would pop up somewhere

Well down here you first pull up to the light, then you exchange phone numbers, then you call each other up and settle on how to race, then you stop and inspect each others cars (you have 7 minutes to do so) then you hop back in and find a light, then you race, then the winners follows the losser to the bank and collects his wins! :icon16:

no seriously I never made eye contact untill I got confident enough. after you race for a while you get used to it so you start to feel more calm and make eye contact ocassionaly.

really cuz sometimes we flash headlights at each other... count loud enough for the other racer to hear, and take off through morning rush-hour traffic...sometimes school-zones, dont' ask me how i know they are flashing lights during the day-time...i just know i owe them 100$ when i lose and there is that automatic withdrawl thing, so no trips to the bank

Don't normally make eye contact, but then again, I only make eye contact with people I am talking to. I'm not a huge fan of eye contact...I dunno, I just can't stare someone in the eye with out wanting to kick their ass....Anyways, I'll look over at another driver, and if they look over I'll wave or somethin. I remeber one time I looked over, made eye contact with the girl riding shot gun in a crappy ricer, and then her boyfirend or whatever tried to chase me down. I was in my mom's Benz, just thinkin 'try to keep up'.

Samething happened to me once, cassie...and I'm pretty sure I posted about it. Most of the time I wont even make eye contact with a young girl driver. Because either way...if they get mad/like it..it's not doing me any good because for one, I don't want any trouble with their boyfriends...second..I'm going to marry my girlfriend so I don't really need to be looking for other girls. :)

Yeah, I know what ya mean. I wasn't looking for trouble, just looking at the car, and I happened to make eye contact with the chick. But then again, being single, I am looking for girls, lol.

I never usually race unless there is eye contact involved, because its usually the eye contact that initiates the race in the first place. Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't. It all depends on who you're racing.

Yea... she i was coming home one day.. on a 4 lane hwy.. this red civic comes fast up on me.. ex....and he just stays at my back bumper.. i was like ok.. this guy is getting on my nerves.. so i speed up and change in n out of lanes inb/w the cars.. look back, and he was right there again.. i'm like ok maybe he just wants to pass.. so i slow down.. he comes up bumper to bumper.. never looks over at me not once.. i was like ok buddy go on.. i'm not wasting my gas.. it's like this for another 8 miles.. until we land at a red light neck to neck.. i'm just sitting there.. i keep looking over just to see wtf is he doin.. he never looks over.. and all of a sudden REVVVVVVVVVVVVVV's.. his engine.. ok buddy this is about stupid.. so the light turns green, and i smoke his ass off the line.. got about 4 car links in front of him.. ride it for a lil while, and then hit the flashers.. and has usual he does the "fly by".. i hate that.... if u wanted to race then dont be such a sore loser when u get beat..maybe it made him feel better that he never made eye contact.. I dunno

Stang.. 210rwph/ 260 torque.. it was given to me as a gift.. just wanted to make it a lil fatser than what factory is.. nothing big.. as u can tell.. and like i said in other threads.. i dont look for the races they stumble upon me.. sometimes i cant help myself
