newbie questions

What is the dumbest thing a newbie has asked you??? I know that as a newbie, I've asked some dumb ones.

"Do they come unbuilt?"
I really hate the "what color should I paint blah-blah" question.

Any question which is covered in the FAQ or 'How To' depository.

Lately, someone asked a question which the answer was 2 post below (with a clear topic name)

I know it's hard to seach, but open your eyes !

Any question that is covered in the FAQ, Tutorial depository, or in the search feature (especially the ones covered two, three times a month).

I think thats my pet peeve.

Not so, stupidity is everywhere. So much so it appears to be one of the basic building blocks of the universe. :p

Honestly though guys - sometimes it's a nightmare trawling through old posts and FAQ's for a small post somewehere that might have an answer to your quick question.

I know it may be a pain for some of you who've been here years but for us newbies it's just easier to ask at times (I will always search first now but not excessively before asking)

The question that bugs me the most is probably "What's the dumbest newbie question you remember?"
