Water on Driver's Side floor

I have a 2000 GLX with about 80K miles. Recently we noticed that the floor of the driver's side has a small lake in it, mostly in the back seat but a good amount in the front as well. The seats are dry as well as the floor right under the driver's seat, as best as we can tell. There does not appear to be a leak in the doors or sunroof, or at least we don't see any water/damage. The car is not driven much, but we're pretty sure it wasn't having this a few months ago. Where should I look? Thanks!

It might be worth your while to check the plastic sheets inside the doors that they don't have holes/cracks in them and that they haven't come loose where they're supposed to be glued to the door frame. Had the same problem on my '84 Jetta II a few years ago, and replacing the plastic sheets & making sure they were properly glued to the door frames solved it.

Open Your Drivers Door. By The Top Hinge Look And Youll See A Little Rubber Tube That Was A Point On It. That Is The Sunroof Drain. If You Cut The Bottom Corner Off Water Will Probally Come Out. That Should Keep It From Backing Up Again.
