TRANSMISSION Question

I have '98 Taurus and it need transmission. I found one transmission in junk yard, befor I buy I would like to know is it gonna fit my car (I need AX4N, column shift, OHV (VIN U)). The one I found in junk yard is: on panel it says AX4N Metric, it is writen that it is column shift, and I wrote down number of tans.:RF-F6DP-76234-BA. Can somebody tell me will this transmission gonna fit my car?

any AX4N will work, it doesn't matter that you have a Column shift and a vulcan.
