Alight guys I need yoiur opinion onw hat I should do to this 3rd gen. Here it goes, my first idea was to put some monroe gas shocks in the rear *adjustable* to raise the rear up and throw some fattys under the rear and drop the front a few coils on the springs, basically a Intermediate drag setup but still streetable. But lately I've been thinking about doing a 2inch drop all around with the IROC rims *I believe they are IROC's anwyays* all sanded down and polished up *WIll take time but ive seen it doen and it loooks fly*, or invest in some skirts and such and no drop but the iroc rims all polished up and such. The drag setup would have Crager SS's or some sort of 5 spoke like that.
The car itself will be Jet Black with 5% tint all aroudn except for Windsheild. If it doesn't come with T-Top I may see if Davidt's has one I can cut out and throw on when I take it in for paint, if it comes with T-Tops then those will also be retined for 5%.
What do you guys think and why?

3. Not lowered but skirts+bumpers will be bought if it doesn't come with them and the IROC rims

Number 1 its your car, so use and mod it your way, forget what people have to say about your car.
Number 2 Id put a full-body kit on that badboy and then I'd lower it, theres one around here with a 2in lowering gismo, and its cool as hell

Then go apeshit and do all three. Do the air suspension so you can adjust the height to your mood, Put BIG ASSED meats on the back with skirts, and cragars on the front.

i would say get the irocs and the side skirts and everything but still lower it a bit it would look pimp :ylsuper: are you just thinking about buying this car or have you looked at one or whats the deal?

nah I've looked at a few, I was going to buy one guy's but he neve called me back so I am going to look at another one tomorrow, I don't think its an IROC though so I will have to find the rims and such seperate, we will see I guess. I'll post an update tomorrow when I go see it.

Ive never really liked the idea of jacking up the rear end with big tires.. imo think it looks kind of redneck.. especially on newer cars(3rd gen and on).. I think the drag look should stick to older muscle cars.. as well as the cragars..
It can look real nice on the right car.. I dont think a 3rd gen camaro is that car...
If it were me, Ide get the Iroc rims, and the GFX.. Lowering is a good idea.. Handles nicer and looks real good..

"the president says" (aka geno) : get the gfx that the 91-92's have, a nice set of polished 17's any design, with a 2" drop, then top it all off with a blower

Blower isn't in a 16 year olds budget at the moment :), I'm starting with a 350 and goign to strengthen it first, if I come accross a blower or supercharger locally for sale for a good price I might delay a few things and pick one up, but it won't be for atleast a few months, more liek over a year

Yah went to check one out with a blown 2.8l mpi, Body is pretty good, rust on driver side fender is the worst, might have to cut the corner out and replace it, there is a few blotches of rust nothing big though. the interior is literally MINT, but its red so I'm going to have to get it died black or maybe I can accent it with some black racing seats to make it look ok but I'd prefer all black, its a mint interior though so I'm happy with that. the glass and everythign is good on it and its got AC which I'm not sure if I will keep yet or not. He wanted 1000 obo for it and I called him and left him a message saying 500 is an offer let me know becuase engine is $400 tranny is $300 just to get this beast running.

i definatley say go with numba 2, seeing as thats what im planning to do with my IROC. well, 2in drop with 17in torque thrust II's. The IROC rims are gonna go into storage.

Tell me if u wanna sell em :) I should post a picture on here of the IROC rims the dude spent 4 days on per rim, boy does it look fly. Lemme see if I can find it again
