I started dieting on Jan 2nd and I have lost 20lb so far. I am eating small portions and only lean meats and no carbs. I eat 2 eggs over easy and some bacon for breakfast. sometimes I skip breakfast and have a sallad for lunch. If I dont skip breakfast I will not eat again until dinner. So I am basically eating 2 times a day. I try to do some exersise and I have been walking for like an 1/2 hour out and 1/2 hour back or 1hour out 1 hour back. I think I will start trying to run part of the way. I get verry constipated since I have stoped eating carbohydrates. What can I do for that. Should I be taking something like citrucel, daily? Ohh yeah one other major change has been to stop drinking soda and other drinks. I have only been drinking Water, and coffe with no milk or sugar, in the morning.
I have been hiting a platue(sp?) lately and have stoped loosing weight or verry little comparitavely. Should I try eating less or exercizing more. And I was wondering if it is unhealthy to do several hours of cardio in a day. And was wondering what the best cardio exercise was. Like running, biking, dancing, stairs, etc. let me know.

Losing .7 (hope i did my math right) lbs per day is not even close to healthy. It's good you started eating lean meats but you don't have to completely cut carbs. I would cut the bacon out in the morning. Eat yogurt, fruit, oatmeal etc.. You're not eating nearly enough. Try eating small meals every 3-4 hours. This will keep your metabolism up. You don't need to starve yourself to lose weight.
Try to create a scheduled workout plan to hit all of your body parts. Instead of just running or whatever cardio you are doing start doing resistance exercises( weights, pushups etc...). Muscle burns calories even when you aren't workoing out. For cardio just do something you enjoy.

exactly what implode said... eat less, more. (less food, more often). exercise as much as possible, the best time for weight loss is before your first meal of the day. drink tons of water. take a fiber supplement for your problem. fiber is a carbohydrate, but the body can't digest it so it doesn't really count. people are starting to realize that the akins diet isn't the way to go. carbs are good. like i said, space out 6 small meals throughout the day and exercise. don't worry about what you eat, just how much. hope that helped

And the plateau is normal, your body is either resisting the loss since you're not eating enough, or you're building some muscle by walking.
Try to eat about 12-13 calories per day for each pound of your target weight; there are numerous nutritional websites where you can calculate the caloric value of foods.
Starving yourself works initially, but in the long run is quite unhealthy. Rather than 2 meals per day, have maybe 5 or 6 smaller meals.

yeah starving yourself is only a good idea if you want to become diabetic.

yeah, you can simply loose of gain weight depending on what you need just by having thre proper nutrition you're body needs. Nutritional supplements are the way to go. These days food is garbage no matter what you eat.
