a stator pickup
just trying to save $ on parts I dont need
Ideas
Thanks for your help in advance

hmmm, I might be inclined to agree with you LT if it wasn't for the fact that he doesn't want to spend money needlessly. When was the last time a tune-up was done?

Ive replaced the ign switch about 6 months ago
i have found out last night there is no fuel pressure
anyone have a clue where to get a deal on one?
also can a person order a pump and dissemble the sending unit from the dead pump and add it to the basic pump or is this not possible
Mikey

You will need to inspect the sending unit first, they tend to rot out a bit and it is best to replace it.

On the '93 you change the pump only. If you need to change the sender that is another part and is GM only.

No offense, but I can get aftermarket sending units for a 1993 here.

None taken, that is what I said. The pump as well as the sending unit can be purchased seperately. My point was, that it is not like a newer Blazer where you must get the whole nine yards.
