resurfaced head too far ?

i had my na head milled way way down im trying to raise compress ratio how do i know if its to far .. the intake valve sidee is all most to the rings aprox .5 mm so with that i want to also grind my pistons down aprox 1-2 mm to comp for the head mill/resurface is this too much
