I have the same problem, you'll notice as well if you put your computer readout to engine then battery that the voltage will jump around dramatically as well as the tach.....does your check engine light come on at all?

Engine light does not come on. I have changed alternator, fuel filter, fuel pressure regulator, and battery. Problem happens less often, but still happens. Is it the wires and plugs, is it the computer? Please give any information. Cannot find the book either. Thanks for responding.

Probably wires or plugs. Replace those first. ANd I cant stress enough to only use AC Delco replacement plugs and wires on these cars. You are begging for problems with aftermarket wires and plugs for theses Northstar engines. They are extremely touchy with there spark and the forums are littered with people who have had horrible results putting aftermarkets on these cars. Including myself.
After that I would try the coil pack. Maybe buy 1 new one and switch it around to see if it resolves the probhlem if it persists after the plug replacement.

D.I.C...?
I have heard of other Aurora's with this problem
Turned out it was a bad ground connection.
