I've heard good things about this transmission fluid, but will it suit our cars? I have absolutely no iea what characteristics are needed and what characteristics Motul Gear 300 has. So I need your help. Should I get it?

Thanks

Edit: here's the description on the motul site http://www.motul.com/motulbaseuk/gab_fiche1.asp

As long as it doesn't have any sulphide EP (extreme pressure) additives which corrode the bronze and brass components in the gearbox (synchros and bushes).

I suggest you send them an email to confirm.

I've used Motul Gear 300. It's a good oil. Seems to shift as smoothly as the Redline I use now. I would think the Motul would be easier for you to find, but I could be wrong. If you can get Redline for the same price or less, I'd get that. It's good stuff.

As a side note, the Motul smells so horrid, that I'd rather roll in cat poop than get a drop of the Motul on me. I'm serious.
