I've got a 1997 Grand Am 2.4L Twin Cam sedan. I'm looking to put in an amplifier with some subs and need to run the power cable through the firewall. I would rather like to find one then drill, who knows what I would hit. So does anyone know if there are any holes in the firewall that I could put a cable through?

There is usually a large rubber boot/gromet which has about 90% of the ignition/various wiring for the engine bay running through it just underneath the drivers side dash board. It's located on the fire on the firewall to the top left of the brake pedal. CAREFULLY cut a small slash in it about 1/4" long. You should the be able to push the power wire for the amp through it into the engine bay. You may have to search for the wire a bit once it's through. That is the quickes and simplest way I can think of. Good luck.
