CD Changer Problem

one day the CD changer just stopped working and now it's shows on my radio CD 0 Track 63 And when I take the cartridge out it comes out... but when I put it back in the CD changer doesn't check for CDs.??? Really confused and I don't want to have to buy I new one :(

Time to replace the ce changer with a new vw one. They always go bad... because there in the trunk mat where stuff hits it and can be spilled on it.. yea bummer
