I have a 600 watt amp that I had in my truck. I just bought this 95 Aurora. I was wondering if hooking up this amp, with a couple of 12's will cause problems with the alternator.

I have a 1000 watt Bazooka amp powering 2 Rockford Fostgate HE2s....No problems. However when its bumping and the DIC is on battery the voltage goes down a little bit when the bass hits :-P Kinda cool.

Thats cool. I have a bazooka too. And two RockfordHE's. I also have a 1/2 ferat bass cap. Which really helps. Did you install yourself? Did you put in a new cd player also?

I got my amp a few years ago, but I think it was around 300. And for a new deck you need a dash kit for around 50. Subs and box around 300-500. But I think I read somewhere on this forum that if you have a Bose system you cant replace the speakers because they only have a one wire connection, so not sure, but I would assume that if you replace the cd player that you would need new speakers in your doors, and trunk too.
