I have the 6 banger Camaro but I will be buying a LS1 engine or 350 later, my question is is the tranny the same for the 6 and 8cyl engines (probably not that lucky)? If not what is the max hp ratings for both stock (manual) tranny's? Thanks in advance

Sorry man, The 8's have a bigger stronger tranny for a reason. The
T-56 is such a strong tranny, that it's used by Vetts and also Vipers(I think...). But anything is possible, but you'll definitely have problems unless you change the rear end, and other drivetrain parts. In the long run, it's best to just get a 6-speed.
