Cavalier 94 wont start. Any suggestions

My cavalier just died on me. The car wont turn over , wont make a sound, Nothing. Lights and radio work fine. What could this be??? Is it the starter. Im not a machanic but was corious to what it could be before i take it in.

It doesnt make anything , no noise, no clicking.

did u try tapping on starter? maybe its frozen? ahh check charging system maybe some thing shorted out? fuses ne thing?

Father-in-law figured it out, He said back in the day they used to start it in neutral... Guess what, it worked. Its something called the neutral switch it looks like. I never heard of it, dont konw if its expensive or an immediate repair, but ill take it to the mechanics tomorrow now that i can start it

if you mean a neutral safty switch i did not think they still used them just in the clutch a clutch safty switch least thats what i have
