I've noticed when i'm going down the interstate that my 94 4runner 3.0 V6 isn't the fastest thing out there. It takes forever to get to max speed and once i have the pedal down to the floor for a while....i can get up to about 70-75 mph max. i have stock 31" tires (31x10.50 Michelin A/T) and i didn't know if this was normal or that i have some unknown lost power. If there is sumthin i can do, what can i do to fix it?

If it normally runs smoothly, check/replace your air and fuel filters. They would limit your top speed. Also, put some injector cleaner in your gasoline (Chevron Techron or equivalent).

Yea.. that does seem a little slow. Ive hit 100 in my 88' before, but that has headers and exhaust... still seems a little slow to me tho..

i also have a 94 and even though it takes a while to get there, it does go faster than 75. we've set the cruise to about 80-85 driving to ny, but i don't know what the max is since we don't take it much past that.
