HELP STUCK IN DC with 4x4 problems

Ok In anothe rpost I was looking for my TCCM in a 98 blazer to get it into 4x4...I have found it but now I need more help problem solving...
Details:
98 Blazer LT
Electronic 4x4 with a 3button switch
Milage 80k
Last complete fluid change (and I mean complete) was 5 days before i noticed the problem
Initial problem: Snow was on its way and when I hit the 4x4hi button while driving nothing happened. Nothing also happens when I hit 4x4lo.
Detail when the car starts all the lights comeon and go off as usual.
If the car is running and in nutreal and I hit 4hi I hear clicking underdash and both 4hi and 4lo light blick about 4 times and the 2hi goes back on.
When I hit 4lo I hear clicking under dash the lights blink and I hear/feel the transfer case go into 4lo... The 2hi light goes out but both the 2hi and 2 lo stay lit.
This work for about a day when I while I found this site to try to fix the problem.
No driving was done.
I then found the disconnect thebattery trick. And couldnt get anything to change after trying it. Still just 2hi and 4lo
Disconnecting the tccm doesnt help either.
So now after playing with it for a bit the car is stuck in 4lo...
It wont go back into 2hi. I hit the buttons and I hear clicking but the lights stay on 2hi and 2lo no transferchange felt or heard. I hit it again hear clicking, no tcase felt or heard and this time all the light go out. Repeat and I get clicking under dash, no tcase noise or feeling and light come on. REPEAT RESULTS
I have the hayes book and am about to go out to buy some tools and wire so that I can try the pin 13 error read out and also check the vacum motor under the battery.
Compounding problems: I am in DC visting friends. I live in pittsburgh
I have very minimal tools at my disposal. Any work also has to be done out side in the snow...
I have found a junk yard about 50 miles away that has the tccm if you all think its the problem I will try to find a way to get there...
With all that I have told you what do you all think? Can any one help?Thanks agian.

UPDATE: On test pin 13 test...
it appears like this with all 3 light all the time
on off off off on off on off off off on off on off on off
repeat
they do all come on togather...
Any thoughts?

yes i have read numerous posts about this with the push-button 4wd. disconnect your negative terminal on the battery for atleast 10 min. it should reset the module. let me know how it works!

Stuck in 4Lo...hmmm...
Call me a simpleton, but get the truck rolling at around 3 MPH, shift into neutral on your tranny and hit the 4Hi/2Hi button and let us know what happens. If you are still getting no luck, roll the truck backwards @ 2-3 MPH, drop the tranny into Neutral and try the switch again. You should not be in ANY gear and acellerating in either direction or rolling faster than 3~5 MPH to engage/disengage 4Lo gear ranges.
