Pends or Putco hide a hooks?

I have a black 1998 Z71. Picture if you will the chrome bumpers and the chrome molding strip that goes along the wheel well. This is the old body style that we all love. I'm debating whether I should get stainless steel/chrome or black hide a hooks that fit into the stake pockets. Oh, I also have a line-x liner that goes over the rails. If I go this route it's between penda or putco hide a hook products. I kinda like the putco ones better, but they are almost double the price. Your thoughts?
