"Does This Count?" Part II

Okay. There is snow and ice on the road. I'm not driving on it...in a car.

Me and some of my buddies got together again. My friends Mac, Matt, and Ryan, all decided the wanted to race me. This time we were at a different house with more property to race on. A good 1/4 for drag racing, and another 1/8 straight. (that includes stopping distances too).

My friend Matt, who I raced last time has a Yamaha YZ125 TT-R. My friend Ryan had a Kawasaki Grizzly (I think?) 220, and Mac has a Y125 (He didnt bring it, but atleast he has some riding experience). I have a Yamaha Blaster 200.

Matt decides he wants to race me again, so we line up on the 1/8 staright. In Part I, if you remember, I completly smoked him. Totaly decimated...

Race 1: I do a mild launch, and spin the wheels all the way through third. Matt gets a good launch, but I just cant cover the distance in this short amount of room. By the end I'm half a car length behind.
Race 2: I decide to launch in second gear, but the same thing just hapens, it just kept spinning, and I couldnt catch up..
Race 3 and Race 4 (On Long Track): Basically same as the above two, but by the end I was right next to him.

Ryan decides he wants to run me now on the Kawasaki.

Race 1: I launch in first, and just spin through third as usual. By the end I was right next to him.
Race 2: I launch in second, but dont give it full throttle, by the end I was just inching him out.

Mac decides he wants in and jumps on the Kawasaki. We go to the long track.
Race 1: I launch in second, spin to through third, finishing right next to each other
Race 2: I launch in second once again, decided to go all out, spin half way through 4th, and finish half a car length ahead. He claims he missed a gear.

I'm hoping I can get a rematch, I didnt think of it then, but I let some air out of my tires, and just cleaned out the air filter.

Good races. How much did you pay for your quad? Im looking at those for goofing around and don't know what to pay for around a 200-300 cc one

I paid $2000 for it in 2001, and its a 2000 model year. I was planning on selling it for more spending cash on my Thunderbird, and my asking price was going to be $1800. This was 6mos ago that I wanted to do that.. BTW, not racing but I took it out on the icy roads tonight and had a little drifting fun...

I would have definately won all of those races if it werent for my horrible launches. almost bald Turf Tamer tires and snow dont work to well.
