Need to flush coolant in '96 Taurus-how to attach flush kit

I need to flush the coolant in my '96 Taurus. Anyone use a Prestone style flush & fill kit? In which radiator hose do I put the "T" fitting? I assume the discharge elbow goes into the overflow tank, yes? I'd appreciate anyone who can enlighten me. Bought the vehicle last summer for a school car...
