accident-due to snow

Had an accident where I skidded into another car. Only back door had damage. my car has little damage. police came took report. owner of the car called to say she is fine with having the car fixed by me without contacting our insurance companies. My question is this: once the police report has been created, does the police send the report to the insurance companies of both parties? Also, can I just fix her car and not report it to the insurance company? Can the driver claim any injuries after the report has been created? No one was hurt and the cops determined it was no-fault due to the weather(snowing like crazy)! thank you in advance

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if the cops said no fault, then you can just forget about the whole deal because it's not your fault, not her fault. So it's simply her problem to get the car fixed, not yours. I could be dead wrong here, I'm not completely familiar with how insurance and stuff like that works in this situation since I've never been one like it. But it stands to reason this is how it should be.
I know it seems like a jerk thing to do, leave her with the bill for the repair when you hit her, but if it isn't going to affect you so be it.

the insurance company doesn't get the police report unless they request it, they only do this when someone makes a claim that they doubt the validity of.

This is true to a certain extent. The fact that you were involved in an accident goes on your drivers license record for the insurance company to see if they pull your report.

If you slid into her then it is your responsibility even if the police did not place you at fault. It is your choice whether to fix it yourself or report it to your company. Insist on a full release of all claims just as the insurance company would.

actually, "no fault" means that you are both 50% at fault, so if u file a claim then you both are responsible for fixing eachothers cars, not you own... i had this happen to a friend... if she wants, neither of you file a claim and just pay to fix the car.
