springs--need advice soon!!!

Narrowing it down to two choices for shocks; either bilsteins or konis adjustable. Any suggestions would help?

most people i know have used bilstein sport shocks, and they work wonderfully. A friend of mine has an e30 with incredibly low and stiff racing springs, droping the car about 2.5 inches, and the bilstein sports have held out wonderfully under autocross use and spirited back road drivng.

I have H&R coil overs, which are Bilstein shocks with H&R springs. They're great -- and adjustable. About $1400 list for the 3 series plus $400 labor, approximately.

I have my car (e36 325i) setup on koni sport adjusable shocks and H&R Race springs with an AC Schnitzer carbon fiber strut brace to finish it off. The shocks and springs cost me about $1000 u.s. The setup is terrific! The car handes very well and I have no complaints. I installed everything myself so no labor costs.
