Turbo vs Almost Stock

The guy with the Camera runs a 14.4. Mods: AEM CAI. Somewhere around 270-275 hp at the crank.

The guy with the open exhaust runs a 11.XX @ 12x.xx mph. Mods: Custom Turbo @ 5.5 psi making 419 whp. I'm sure he has a couple of bolt ons, but I have no idea what they are.

Right, they're not racing. The Camera car was going 110 before he let off just for the hell of it. :screwy:

It shows the difference between a 14 and a 11 second car. These two guys are members of another board that I visit and did this race just to see what a difference the turbo makes.

So I guess since you weren't there and don't know the whole story behind the race, you must know better. :lol:

They're the same cars, one is turboed one is stock. When they raced, out came that - I really couldn't care less what you think they did.

i agree...thats what im confused about. if they are racing, i would expect to at LEAST hear a turbo spooling or a wastegate. Sounds and looks like they are driving about 40 mph tops and granny shifting. It sounds no where near WOT imho. :2cents:

It doesnt sound liek they were racing at all...It was just someone doing a high speed run while another car filmed...I could do that with my buddies Lexus.

It's a street racing forum, I'm posting a street racing Video.

I figured people would rather see a video of a 14 second car getting his ass whooped than read about 89 Saabs losing to a 88 Geo or a 325i racing a stock Audi A4, but I guess not.

The facts are there. If you wanna say "he wasn't racing" when the guy who was actually driving the car says he was, I guess you must know better then. :rolleyes:

Nothing at all about this video makes me think they are racing. It looks like one guy driving next to another, then he does a high speed pass.

As you can see, they were both racing from a 30 mph roll. The guy with the turbo has beaten Modenas, TT Porsche 911s and he's beaten a 377 whp G35C among other high performance cars, so putting that many cars on a mid 14 sec car with a camera man shouldn't be that hard to believe. Not to mention, he traps over 20 mph more than the camera car.

Especially you as well as me out of all these people know that just because it doesn't sound like he's racing it doesn't mean he's not racing. These people think you have to have a fart can and be loud in order to go fast. Luxury cars don't make that much noise as you know.

When I go WOT, mine makes plenty of noise, and I want it to. Same in both of the Benzs I drive. When you go WOT, you know it. I'm saying it doenst sound at all like the cammera car is going WOT, even over a cammera.

Ok people... I can sense this is going to go south quick.
