need automatic headlight sentinel on my car!

Okay, I love my Concorde LXI, but I miss the fully automatic twightlight sentintal that was on my Cadillac. I have the delayed headlight off (delay after turning off ignition) but my car does not turn the lights on automatically when it gets dark. Is there any aftermarket (or Chrysler) kit that I can install. How difficult would it be. Did Chrysler offer such as an option? I know that I'd need another headlight switch plus a sensor. I have the Chrysler shop manual so wiring diagram is no issue. Anyone made this modification? If so, where did you obtain parts? Thanks, Browser509

Yes there is!

It was a standard option on the 300M, and the LHS.

First look up on your dash for the sun sensor. You might have it installed already. It should be in the center near the windshield. If you have the factory alarm, the sensor flashes when the alarm is armed. (the light and the sun sensor are built into the same part) Also, if you have the Automatic climate control, then you already have the sun sensor, since the auto climate controls use the sensor as well.

If you already have the sun sensor, it's a matter of obtaining a new headlight switch, either from a junkyard, eBay, or a dealer, and installing it. Then your done, auto headlights...

If you don't have the sun sensor, you'll have to install it. Which is just a matter of taking apart the dash, and running the wires down to the body controller. (mounted inside the dash on the passenger side) and installing the sensor itself. -- Nothing extremly difficult, but definitly time consuming.
