I need assistance of installing an alarm security system in my 94 prelude 4ws. Which set of wires under the dashboard do i use to connect w/ the alarm's wires???

These are the wires that i'm having difficulties understanding----

Black/White---Open Dormer (o/p -500mA)
White/Blue----Engine Cap (o/p -500mA)
Green/Black---Rolling Up Windows (o/p -500mA)
Red/White ----Trunk (o/p -500mA)
Blue-----------Food Brake Switch (i/p +)

another thing is that somehow it did not come with the shock sensor---how will that be a problem in the future??? How do i fix that problem or prevent that problem.???

Please someone help me with these issues.....ur assistances is greatly appreciated....

not sure on the rest of it, but not having the shock sensor wont do much. a person can bump into your car now and the alarm wont go off. or a gust of wind wont set it off.

It is a catch 22 on having one or not, its nice feature, but it can be an annoyance at times. But no problem if you dont have it.

Another question came up------

for the Yellow wire to says goes to the ignition coil-----do i have to get the Yellow wire from the alarm system and add an extension to the Yellow wire and drag that wire to the engine----ignition coil--??? or where can i find a closer ignition wire??? Does the key ignitor work???

I"m all confused----dats y i'm doing all my research b4 i fried my lude----can't afford the pros-----

Thanks for all who'd helped---

No offence my friend but if you have to ask these kind of questions your probably better off getting the pro's to do it for ya,.,., Your relying on the word of people you don't no, if they get it wrong you could f*ck up the alarm and its your pocket that suffers not ours. All alarms are different and the chances of finding someone who can describe accuratley what goes where with your one are slim.
oh well thats my advice anyway,

Maybe if you post the make and model number of the alarm you'll find someone who has the same one,.,.,.,.,.,
good luck!,.,.,.,.

Ditto for above. I do alarms for a living and sorry but your kind of questions make me uneasy to answer them.

Well----here's the model----

Model: LD 168 Series
Option Group
FCCID: QNMWA168
349925

the wire colorings on the alarm is quite different from the car's wiring. Will a wiring diagram for the 94 lude help determine which wires goes w/ wat wires.???

I will do the research until i know for sure i won't be able to do it----then save for a pro---but in the meantime--i will do as much research as possible--b4 handing it over to the pro's.

thanks

For the person that has an idea on vehicle electronics, it's actually pretty easy. It's when you have a problem is where pros like me stand out.

The crucial thing about alarms is to get a good installation job done on them. I myself would not even think twice about having a professional install an alarm for me. Not that I'm some wiring and electronics guru, but shit looking at alarm installs makes me queasy.

OK you are dumb, i just gave u the codes for all the wires in ur car. look in the manual that came with the alarm that lists the wire color and its function, then hook it up to the wire that has the same function on ur car. making sure polarity and what not are correct.

ok hmmm let me see how i can describe this, when u look in the book there should be a diagram showing which wires coming out of the brain control what, if there are two of the same color look at either which colors are next to it or which harness its on coming out of the brain. if u have any more questions talk to me on AIM. And sry for flaming before but i get frusterated when i describe something as clearly as i can and people dont get it
