I have a 1993 Chevy S-10 Blazer with a 4.3L Vortex enigine that keeps stalling out, sometimes up to six times in one day. On the other hand it can go an entire day without stalling at all. When it's cold outside, it almost always cuts out immediately after I start it. When it's running rough, the service engine light stays on, and it will go off if i repeatedly rev the engine. Right before it cuts off, it shakes violenlty, and then stops abruptly. The check engine light then comes on. I have replaced plugs, wires , distributer cap, rotor button, checked EGR valve. Please help!

You mentioned that the "engine light" comes on. Get the codes read, people on here will have a better chance of helping you, unless you want to keep shotgunning, then I am sure you will get all kinds of ideas.
