I am looking for a POS toyota MR2 that i can strip down to the frame and use for a build up. It needs to have motor, tranny and all of the wiring, but the body can be in as bad of shape as you can imagine...as long as the frame and before mentioned parts are good. Don't care how many miles or whatever. Engine doesn't have to run. Preferably near North Dakota. Thanks.

Come on, doesn't anyone have an old MR2 or know where i can get ahold of one. It doesn't even need to be recognizeable...as many miles as you can count. As long as the engine, tranny and wiring is in tact and the frame isn't bent, i want to know about it.

Got a MK1 ('87) that just got rear ended. Crumpled the trunk but the engine compartment forward looks pretty fair. Car is in South Louisiana, about as far as you can get from ND. If you're interested, PM me and I'll send you some photos.

I'll have to check w/ the guy i'm doing this for and i'll get back to you. Is the MK1 Rear engine rear drive or what is that?

MK1 is the first generation MR2. All are mid engine rear-wheel drive. This particular car has a normally aspirated engine, 5 speed manual with a new OEM clutch (<500 miles). Car has sunroof , interior is tan.

Does it run and how much do you want for it? It almost sounds like too nice of a car to murder like we plan to. My friend's plan is to completely strip the car and IDK what he is going to make w/ it, but he wants me to beef it up somehow. I think he might make a dunebuggy...maybe??? He just said he wanted a light, rearwheel rearengine car that is in terrible condition so we can rip it apart and make it sweet. IDK what sweet means though. I'm sure i'll get back to you though.

dude get an old bug :) rear engine, light, great to make in to a dune buggy or well whatever if you plan on striping the body. and you can find one in crapy condition for just short of nothing, and people have been puting diffrent engins in then since they where made...
