Easy 5 speed question

Is 5th gear on my 95 1.0L 5 speed an overdrive or is it 1:1?

The geo 5 speed is indeed an overdrive transmission.

Thanks, I thought so from the way it drove. Just wanted to know for sure.

Actually, on 1.0 litre/5sp. aren't the TWO top gears (4th and 5th) overdrives?

On hills, I need to drop to 3rd to get any 'pull.'

Well, that doesn't mean 4th is an overdrive gear.. Just means the 3cyl has as much torque as a mini-bike :smokin: . But yea. The 3cyl needs RPM's to get out of it's own way.
