will it work

I want to take a 95 avenger and stick a viper engine into it. will this work? what mods ned to be done? what kind of tranny will i need? any help will be grately appreciated.

I highly doubt that will work. As you know, Avengers are FWD and Viper's are RWD and if you were, that Avenger will be higly modified to fit a V-10 engine and six speed tranny. If you have the money to do it, go right ahead, but honestly, there's a 2% chance that modification could work.

anything can work with enough fabrication... but that would take a hell of a lot of fabrication. you WOULD have to make it RWD. you should probably buy that viper tranny, i think its a t56? you would need to find or make a driveshaft to fit... it would be a lot of work. also that engine would have to just fit in the engine bay. just the v6 in those cars is really cramped, if it cleared the sides of the car im sure youd need to fabricate a special hood.

well, if you have enough money to buy a SRT-10 engine and the viper tranny and get all that fabricated and stuff, I would just go ahead and buy the whole Viper. It would be faster and look better.
