i was told that my 91 stealth is a peice of sh!t, that is was the worst design by mitsubishi ever. i was also told that if the rod bearings are knocking that the whole motor needs to be rebuilt, is that true. and what are all of your opinions on the 91 stealth es. is it a good project car, or is it a waist of money. please let me know befor i waste my money.

yes, you will pretty much need a rebuild or find a used engine for cheap. They can be fun project cars if you know what you are doing with them. I know that i enjoy mine as it started off as an SL. But bear in mind, they do cost some money.
