Anybody have these pieces they would be willing to sell or know of a place I can find them? I have been looking and looking and looking some more for these pieces. Aparently GM decided to stop manufacturing Rally Sport header and valence panels so just about nobody has them. Not Goodmark. Not Year One. Not Chevyland. I'll even take used parts that are in decent shape. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

The header panel and the valance panel? OK, well I am looking at my Classic Industries Camaro catalog and I see a 1970-73 RS Camaro header panel on page 416 and the valance panel for the RS on page 429. The header panel goes for $229.95 and the valance panel is $249.95. The front urethane bumper is also in here for $359.95 on page 415. It is all here in the Classic Industries Catalog. Their website is the same as their name.

Year One, National Parts Depot, the Paddock, Classic Industries...
Go to their websites and order catalogs, they come in handy... Year One charges $7.50 for the catalog but give you a credit for it when you place your first order.
They all don't have all the pieces, but between them you should be able to find anythnig you need.

Thanks for the replies. I already called Classic Industries and they don't have any header panels there either. They said the last shipment they got in was in August of 04 and that they would not be getting any more in unless GM decided to start making them again. They did have some valence panels which I will probably get from them, but it's gonna cost me about $380 to get it here. I just checked the Paddock and National Parts Depot and they have nothing either. Why would GM decide to discontine this part?

Thank you for all of your help Earl and Core. I tried the links checked the catalogs, called everybody I could find and think of. Some of them had the part I needed in their catalogs but didn't have anything in the warehouse. The standard Camaro pieces are easy to find, but I need the Rally Sport pieces with the circle parking lights. Thanks again.

So what are you trying to do? Are you trying to turn a standard into a Rally Sport or are the old pieces pretty thrashed? Just curious.

OHHHHH! (dumb-ass me) Didn't know you wee talking about the front end! Thought you were talking about interior.
Let me get my junk at home & list the other places I've got.
A guy in Jersey was selling a '72 RS for $2K about 4 -5 months ago & said it wasn't selling b/c no engine & interior was shitty. You might try buying a parts car.

It's an original Rally Sport. The front end is just a little too rough. And I don't need a parts car. I have brand new fenders, hood, urethane nose, grill, and the chrome grill insert. from the firewall back the body is just about perfect. I've been looking for these parts for months so I can get her painted.

"the Paddock" & "National Parts Depot" both have the header panels in their catalogs (pps 98 & 99 Paddock - pps 98 & 105 in NPD)
There's also a place that Year One reffered me to, I think it was Blue Grass Classics that they said more often than not has the parts they don't. Idon't have the phone number anymore, but if you call Year One perhaps they'd give it to you.
