Removing Limiter on '95 325is

I want to remove the Electronic Limiter/Governer on my E36 325is. Was wondring if any one has done to there E36's and if so how hard is it, and what are the over all affects on the preformance, Gas milage ect.

get a performance chip. i got the one from bavauto.com check out their web site it gives you all the specs. i have a 93 325 i. its an easy install

dinanmotorsports.com also have these chips. the one i have deletes governer raises the revlimit to 7,000 and peak torque is at 5500 rpms vs. 4500 rpms better on gas smoother ride. only draw back is you must use at least 92 octane gas, or damage to the motor can happen.
