1996 jetta no spak

my jetta stalled and will not start.I do not hear thye fuel pump running when i go to the trunk.I put 12volts to the pump it runs,i cked fuse 18 meters good,I can not find where the fuel pump relay is located.Also checkedc for spark by removing a wire from thr cap and grounding it out no spak.however i do have sparl from the coil.Is their anything that will stop the spark or the pump from runninf,maybe aspark sensor or something.Any help in diagnosing will be appreciated.

I dug a little deeper noticed the rotor was not turning I took off the timing belt cover and found the belt chewed up only 55 k miles on the car.Will my valves be destroyed from the belt break?
