Lambo Door Conversion

What do you guys think about Lambo Door kits? I think they look pretty sweet, especially on a 2 door. Ive seen a couple 3rd gen's with a pretty cool setup. They are a little $$$, anywhere from 1200 to over 3 grand.

they might be rare on 3Gs, but it seems that alot of other cars have them. what about suicide doors or butterfly doors. i really want butterfly doors

I personally hate lambo doors, and butterfly doors suicide arent bad but...... It just doesnt seem right to mod a car that way. It doesnt help the performance, or pactical. Just add's weight which = slower than my car.

I saw a WRX with lambo front doors, and suicide rears...it was CRAZY. I think suicide on a 2 door is not looking hot, and yes it is true that hondas lambo alot. Personally I like them depending on the car...i REALLY liked the WRX setup with both. I bet if you had enough "go" under the hood you could "show" out your car and still be pretty quick.

Man the doors are way too heavy to do the butterfly. You would be replacing struts every month.

plus one of the main reasons that car didn't make it ... the doors ... cause if you pulled in between two cars to park lol yea you know what happens.

Do you know what a pain in the ass butterfly doors would be. Imagine being in a crowded parking lot and trying to get out of your car without hitting the car next to you...it would be impossible.

yea and i dont kno if anyone realises but butterfly doors WOULD NOT work on our cars because there is nothin to hinge off of except a window. unless u want to build a frame around the window which would be hard and prolly woldnt look good.

If i was a TRUE to the bone eclipse fan, I would probably own a Gen 2 GSX or GST...not saying that the Gen 3 is not good...but Gen 2 much more for performance in my mind. However...it almost seams cliche to own a riced out Gen 2 Eclipse.

and it would come to this: do you want to be one of 10000 or more to have a fast 2G? or... do you want to be one of the 300 to have a fast 3G?

i would want to be one of the fast 3Gs. i want to do something that either nobody has done or very few have done.

personaly i like the sound of a car when u dont hear the tail pipe just the engine my cirrus is so quiet u dont know its running till u hear me hit 4000 RPMs then i sound like a viper running down the road... :) also 170 Ftlbs of torque on a 3000 pound FWD car leads to some amazing burnouts :) pulled out of my schools parking lot today and its on a hill... roasted my tires a little but sounded and smoked good :)

If I'm not mistaken it has a 2.5 V6? I had a Sebring JXI with the same motor...we nicknamed it "Squirrel Power". I swear, that car was such a piece, and the motor sounded like it was going to explode. I know that car doesnt sound like a viper, it sounds more like a dying cat. Nothing against you personally, I just HATE HATE HATE CHRYSTLER!!!!! If you havent replaced your transmission yet, get ready for it because the trannies they put in their cars suck all ass. Not saying that Mitsu is the greatest...but ANYTHING (Maybe not Ford) is better than Chrystler.

i was wondering the same thing. but theres no need to bash somebody elses car. even if he bashes the 3G, i wouldnt go down to that level to bash his car

The only reason I said anything was from my past car experience. I Had almost the exact same car, and it sucked royaly. That why I am so adament about bashing his POS...I would probably rather drive a CRX than that.

You see if we had a Mod in here we wouldnt have to deal with dumb asses like Legionofone!!!!!
