99 new beetle radio question?

Hello, Does anyone know if you can disable the divice on the radio that automaticly lowers the volume. It is put on there to keep you from blowing your speakers. any help would be great.

Its part of the radio. You cant disable it... VW didnt want stupid people blasting there stereos so there speakers blew and trying to get vw to warranty them.
