91 Cavalier No Start Condition (Hot)..Help

91 Cavalier...intermittant no start condition....after shutting the car off from my drive home from work (about 30 minutes highway)...I will go out about an hour later and the car will not start...the starter turns the engine fine but what I did notice when this condition occurred was that there was no gas coming from the single injector.....if you leave the car sit maybe 2 hours the car starts fine. It runs great when it's running..no hestitation or loss of power. I had it in the garage but couldn't get the no start condition to occur. They tested the fuel pressure and it was fine. They couldn't find anything wrong although the car started for them each time. Any suggestions?????

Intermittent problems can often be traced to loose connections, since it is only occurring when hot look for things that could be expanding due to the heat. These type of issues can be very difficult to resolve. You may wish to try a junkyard fuel injector first.

may even be a fuel blockage! how old is the fuel filter and are you running the tank WAY down!

Yeah the fuel filter is possible. Although I don't see how this would only happen when hot. Maybe it is not heat but drive/road condition related.

I'm thinking tank sediment and not so much hot but just use and then leaving it, it settles!

Found the problem...replaced the Injector and it solved the problem.
I was driving home from work and the car just stopped. Popped out the old injector, cleaned it a bit, reinstalled it and still did not work. I knew gas was getting up to the injector. I went and got a new TBI and it fired right up.
