Coil Problem?

I installed a Accel ignition coil and at high RPM the engine cuts off. I replace it with a new one but it does the same. What might be the problem?

at what RPM is it cutting out at?? does it have a rev. limiter built into it???

Depends. The hotter it gets it cutts off at lower RPM. It got to a point that it started to cut off at 1900-2000RPM. I dont think it has a rev limitter

are you running stock wires?? maybe they need an upgrade if the Accel is a hotter coil ?
