Sleek Silver Boxster

Okay here's another recent build... Tamiya's Porsche Boxster
A lot of guys were making killer custom tuner Boxsters, but I wanted to make mine follow the look of the original concept car. I used some aftermarket wheels with a center that had the feel of the old Porsche 356 Speedster wheels, and painted the interior a custom mixed shade of maroon. The body paint is Mercedes Silver, which I bought a quart of about 8 years ago, and despite painting half a dozen cars with it, it's only down about an eight of an inch from the top. :dunno: I wanted the finest silver particle size I could get, so the final finish would have the brightest finish. I replaced the headrest/windscreens with some fine mesh, and I flocked the interior and added seat belts.

fun, quick build, and I really like the style of this one, it stays true to the artistic vision of the original, and has many "Porsche" cues.

Very nice looking model. I believe the red interior color is very close to the factory's red interior color.
