Auto Trans 2002 s 10

Does anyone know what type of automatic trans is in my 4 cyl 2002 s10 extended cab. Is it a 700r4? Thanks for any replies. D.C.

My book on the 02 S-10 only lists one automatic transmission. The 4L60-E

OK, Thanks for all your replies. An over builtranny for the 4 cyl wouldnt you say!! The transmission in my truck really impressed me, and i was just wondering.

thats the same tranny for the 2000??
