I don't even know why I'm posting this story, maybe it's because I have too much free time, or maybe it's because I haven't had much racing-type action in the last...oh...6 months, but here it goes.

I was on my way home from class on this twisty back road that I use to get home....it starts out with a long 1.5 mile long straightaway and it's all curves from there on...so I'm just crusing at about 65 when this early model(the kind they made in the mid 90s) dodge ram goes roaring by me on the straightaway at about 80, he had some loud ass aftermarket exhaust. I think nothing of it, but I glance up the road and see that he and a late 90's model tacoma are starting to go at it a bit. I say "what the hell", and hurry to catch up to them...I'm not really driving fast down the straights, but I am pushing it in the curves and it takes me about 3/4 of a mile to catch up to them both. I think the ram must have seen me because he starts tailgating the tacoma in front of him and they both start driving like morons. I mean, cutting turns through the gravel, kicking up dirt and rocks in my face, all that good stuff. So I play with them by letting them get ahead on the short little straight bursts, and then catching up to them and riding them through the curves...oh man those guys were trying so hard, I thought they were gonna crash...eventually I backed completely off and let them go play, because it wasn't much of a challenge for me, and I was tired of getting rocks and dirt kicked up onto my windshield.

Cliff notes: I play catch up with a couple of trucks, let 'em know who's boss through the turns :icon16:
I know it's pretty sad that I have to start picking on trucks through the twisties but hey, whatever entertains me, right? :iceslolan

Trucks aren't very good in the corners.

well thats suck but come to nyc im more then sure some ricer will will mess with you at the lightest sign of you driving agressive, as soon as they hear a intake or exhaust they are ready to race, once they hear a bov tho they get a lil scared lol... perks of living in a over populated city..

Mine handles the curves pretty good right now with the drop and the nittos. I wouldn't get too crazy with it though, because I built it to go straight fast. I bet it would make a hell of a drifter though.

I am currently gathering all of my parts for the coilover/4 link setup. I really want my 1.78 60ft down.

Great....not only do we have trucks than run 11's, we're gonna have trucks that also pull 1G on the skidpad, lol.

It's pure madness

Well, the R/T pulls .84 stock, and I can't find any documentation on it, but I've been told it's close to 1g with the Hotchkis, and that's on the stock tires. :iceslolan
