1g or 2g throttle

Is it true that a first gen. gsx throttle is better then a second gen. gsx throttle, and if so does it bolt right on or due you have to change some things. thanks

Yes, all 1st gen turbo throttle bodies are better than 2nd gen turbo throttle bodies. They have a bigger opening. 91-94 will work fine in all 2nd gen turbo eclipses, you just need to swap out the TPS (throttle position sensor).

60mm vs 52mm if anyone wants the sizes. Bolt patter is the same. But the opening in the 2g manifold is 52mm, so that has to be enlarged or the 60mm TB doesnt help much.
