I was exchanging car starting horor stories at church on sunday (it has been very cold -25 here) and one of the guys jtold me about his F150 and how the relay got stuck, the fuel pump ran continuously and the baterry would be dead in am. He said this is a common F150 problem.
My son just called and reported a dead battery and the fuel pump running.
Is this a common problem? Where is the relay located?

The relay is under the hood usually near the airbox. Mine has a plastic shield over it and also has the EEC relay and a diagnostic plug

more than likely the relay stuck is the EEC power relay, this feeds the fuel pump relay, and has been the more common one to stick
