I am the original owner of a 1993 Accord. I have had to replace 2 windows, and now the other two windows need replacing. I live in the rigid winters of UTAH and forced to drive with my window down. Grrrr
What I am trying to do is......Replace the window regulator, or find out what is causing my window malfunction.
What I need is, I have the I have removed the plugs, screws and the clamps from my front left (aka drivers side)door panel. Now it is time to some how get my door handle detached from the panel... I cant. What ever I am doing I am not doing it right.
Can anyone help?
Thanks Tons.....
Anna

There's a phillips screw under a small round plastic button behind the chrome handle. Just pop the button open (if it isn't broken, it's captive) and you'll see the screw.
When that's out, pull the handle gently towards you, and you'll see the small plastic part that clips the actuating rod to the door handle. Push it away from the rod, and you can unhook it.

Don't forget to slide the handle foward to un hook it from the door after you remove the screw then you can follow AccordCodger's advice
