When i start my car it fires up fine, but it overheats, no coolant is going to radiator, and my fan doesnt kick on......the last time i drove it coolant launched out of the overflow tank.... any ideas?

sorry, its a 2.3 quad, i dont know much about cars, i checked the coolant to see if it froze, but it was fine, i recently had a stereo put in also, but i dont think that thats the case. Theres a hose under the hood hooked up to a black box type structure on the front of the block, but the hose isnt hooked into anything. The coolant light is on inside but i know its fine, its just not getting sucked from the tank for some reason, and my fan isn't turning on. I still have heat when the cars running.

Probably your thermostat is stuck closed.

The black box you are talking about could be the air/oil separator which has hoses connected to it. Check your engine bay for the hoses diagram routing.
