99GA quitting suddently

99 Grand Am SE V6, 120000Km new plugs, battery and fuel filter.
Sometimes it just quits while driving. It starts again with no problem.
When it does it, I have no lights on the instrument panel.
Not always, but sometimes the trac off light comes on after starting the car again, only after it quits, on a normal start no problem.
When it runs, runs great.

I wonder if anyone has ran into the same problem.

might be an electrical issue, maybe a circuit breaker is tripping and then resets itself.
