My 1994 Diamante with 67000 miles consumes oil (about 1 pint ev 800 miles) between oil changes. What is causing this?

I have a 1994 and it does the same thing. I had it checked out and they said that they couldn't find a reason for how fast it goes through oil. If you find out I'd like to know!

i had a 93 diamante, it did the same thing. never could figure out why. i guess those cars just get thirsty?
